PROS & CONS |
||
| In the sport of hunting there are many pros and cons. I believe the greatest of pros is that you see many things that other people do not get to see. While out duck hunting, hunters will probably see the sunrise. If you have ever seen this before you know what I mean, but if you haven't seen this, it is something that you should make time for. Also while you sit in the perfect hunting spot you may see some eagles fly over or maybe even an otter swim by. These are just some of the things that bring me back to the hunting scene every year. As a duck hunter you also hope the ducks fly by in large numbers. Some days this happens and others you may sit for hours and wait for just one duck to be in range. These are the times that I wish I was a better shot with my shotgun. One thing that I wish was different in the hunting world is the time a person must wake to be ready to hunt. Duck hunters can start to shoot when the sun rises so this means hunters need to be out there early to get the right hunting spot. In my eyes cold weather is another con. I am not a fan of the cold weather, but it is something I need to deal with in order to hunt ducks. There are some days the weather is warm and sunny and others when the wind is blowing and the snow is flying. I may not enjoy the cold, but you will still find me hunting in a variety of conditions. Another reason to hunt is to get outside and spend time with family and friends. | ||
