This site came from a paper that was wrote for an Intro to Audio class at Bemidji State University. The information and qutoes in this site are from various visits and interviews with the staff of Q107 FM. Q107 is a Christian radio station that covers Northwestern Minnesota. KKEQ, also known as Q107 FM is a station located one mile East of Fosston Minnesota with a translator of 50,000 watts, which currently covers an area from East Grand Forks to Walker Minnesota. Q107 brings a format to Northern Minnesota that no other station offers. Q107 focuses on a Hot A.C. (alternative Christian) format while it continues to carry a traditional format through the Salem Christian Music Network.

Q107 has a partnership with Shine the Light, Inc. a nonprofit, nondenominational ministry. Shine the Light helps support Q107 through prayer and financial resources. Shine the light and Q107 FM share the same goal: To spread the news of the gospel with family-oriented programming, youth confrences, Christian music concerts, and other events.
