Myth

Alcohol makes you perform better in bed.

Truth

For many, drinking alcohol increases sexual desire. However, drinking too much can actually hinder your sexual performance. Alcohol can block nerve endings, causing men to lose or be unable to achieve an erection. For women, alcohol causes a decrease in natural lubrication, which can make sex painful.
