Go to any party where alcohol is consumed and you will hear phrases such as:

  • "I don't need a jacket tonight, the alcohol I drink will keep me warm."
  • "Give me a cup of coffee and I'll be sober enough to drive."
  • "I'm only drinking beer, so I don't need to worry about getting drunk."
