Anna Haugstad : Work Experience
For the past four years I have been working at the Academic Technology Center at Bemidji State University. There I assist faculty and staff with their technology needs including the set-up of Interactive Television classes. Interactive classes are usually hosted either here at BSU or at distant locations. I am also the office scheduler which means that I assign the rooms for the Interactive Classes. Sounds very official, doesn't it?
For the past 10 years I have been working for my neighbor who is a sunglass salesmen. There I file, put price tags on sunglasses and other odd jobs. He supplies most of the gas stations and grocery stores in Minnesota and parts of North Dakota. Not only am I paid for my work but I also get to listen to general advice about what I should do with my life.
