Homecoming

HC2007K&Q This committee is in charge of all planning, execution, and coordination of Homecoming Events. This includes working with the Alumni Association to come up with a theme, deciding what events to put on, and working with the budget. This committee is headed by Katie Maki.

Publicity

thumbsup This committee is in charge of publicizing HUPB itself. It takes care of the bulletin boards and display case as well as ads for the Northern Student. This committee is in headed by Tira Gileck.

 

Special Events

sunsplash This committee is in charge of any event that wouldn't fall under another committee, most notably comedians, movies, and Sunsplash, which is our annual spring picnic. This committee is headed by Katie Maki.

 

Coffeehouse

This committee is in charge of booking and handling any live music. This committee is headed by Chelsey Verdon.

HUPB Week

This committee takes care of one full week of events in spring. They decide on a theme, plan an event each day, and make sure all events are executed properly. This committee is headed by Amanda Johnson and Kelsey Field.

Weeks of Welcome (WOW)

This committee takes care of all events during the Weeks of Welcome (the first seven weeks of each semester). It decides on themes, events, and prizes and giveaways. This committee is headed by Amanda Johnson and Kelsey Field.

Cultural Arts

holidays This committee is in charge of any cultural or artistic event, including lecturers, slam poets, cultural musicians, or any other cultural event that they can think of. This committee doesn't have a chair. Become one! :-)
