Welcome to Bemidji

As students, we all have had different experiences at BSU, but some experiences like that of the winter tend to be similar. We therefore have designed this website to share our experiences and try to help prepare those students who intend to join BSU and especially the international students. BSU is far up north of USA and has its own unique culture and climate, which may not have been addressed adequately in other websites dealing with culture shock. We therefore felt that a website that focuses mainly on BSU would be appropriate.

Through this website, the current international students in BSU will share their experiences and in the process will be helping each other to deal while learning from others. The prospective international students will gain knowledge on what to expect at BSU and prepare for it psychologically. It also gives the American students a view on what their colleagues encounter on a daily basis and create an understanding.
