Would you find it helpful for others who have struggled with cancer to share their experiences with you?

Welcome to our Spiritual Healing and Recovery Environment. This site was created for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Whether you have just found out that you have cancer, you are a survivor, you have a loved one who has cancer, or you just know someone who has cancer – we hope that you will find some helpful information and insights.

Who We Are

This site has been created by Cindy Preuett and Cynthia Carlson. Cindy is presently undergoing treatment for cancer. She is 44 years old. Cynthia lost her mother to cancer when she was 16 years old. At that time her mother was 44 years old. Both of these individuals have experienced a different array of feelings and issues as a result of cancer. They got together and decided to develop a website that can help both people with cancer and their acquaintances, friends, and family members.

Mission

Our mission to is share information and provide you with hope in a personal manner so that you can heal from the emotional and spiritual pain that accompanies cancer.

The goal of CancerSHARE is to address the following:

  1. Newly Diagnosed: We would like to help you through the process that you will be facing as you begin dealing with your cancer.
  2. Survivors: We would like you to continue on your healing journey and we also would like you to have an opportunity to share with others in order to bring them inspiration.
  3. Family, Friends, and Acquaintances: Often when someone has cancer those close to them become caregivers while at the same time experiencing emotional turmoil themselves so our goal is to provide support to you
  4. Grief, Loss, and Change: Whether you have cancer, know someone with cancer, have a loved one with cancer, or have lost someone to cancer, you will be dealing with the grieving process. We encourage you to go through the grieving process as a way of dealing effectively with your emotional and spiritual pain.
  5. Dealing With Death: Facing death is one of the most difficult things you will ever do and we hope our information assists you in this process.

Content

Each page will provide you with information that we have found helpful to us on our journey with cancer. We have also provided links on each page that are specific to that goal so that you can easily access further information, resources, and support. Along with the five goals we have, we have provided informational links that we believe may assist in the process you are facing with cancer. These links include:

  • self-care
  • humor
  • journaling
  • inspiration

We hope these too can help you with your journey.
