Purpose
To create a site with useful every day information related to etiquette/manners that people should already know, but often don't.

Design
-
I wanted my design to be the same way I presented my information: simple and straight forward.

-I wanted each page accessable from every other page as well as the index page.

-I made sure that the colors I used on the left, followed through to the page the viewer was brought to.

-Editing! I didn't want to scare viewers away by information overload. Concise sentences and paragraphs were able to be achieved, along with tables.

Usability

I conducted a usability test with 3 different individuals. Two of the three were familiar with Internet navigation, while one was a beginner.

What Worked?

-The site was very easy to navigate, even to the beginner. The user always knew where they were within the site.

-The information was short, yet useful. It was set up where the user could do a scan of the page and easily find what was relevant to them.

What Didn't Work?

-Initially, I didn't have the one-line description below each topic in the left column. The users commented that a few word summary would be useful, so they knew whether they wanted to go there or not.
