 Purpose

I'm a nostalgic individual. I hope technology and computers do not lose sight of individuals and the way nature intended them to be. I want others to become familiar with me, as a person who has something to say. This course has helped me advance and develop my skills to speak out through my writings.

Computers are an important medium of the future to speak out. You can personalize your web site with photos, drawings and words. E-mail links you to your readers. It opens communication with people who have common interests and experiences. You can improve your site with their feedback.

Design and text composition

I already had the background writings that I had done back in 1994, and I'm glad I wrote down my thoughts then. I wish I would have kept a journal other times in my life. It's hard to work only with memory. In my site about Woodstock '94, I concentrated on personalizing it with details. This gives insight to individuals who couldn't be there and others who want specifics. Content became my primary concern for this reason, instead of photos, drawings and other links. I think I surpassed other sites, I've viewed, in this aspect.

Problems I encountered

This course was challenging for someone like myself, who have fallen behind the times with age. Most of the time, I get frustrated and impatient with advancing technology. I hope I retain many of the skills required for creating a site for a future time.

Technical problems I encounter

Coloring in the drawing on the home page, was a challenge and linking it on was difficult. I am glad I took the time because that was important to me to have his drawing on this site. Thanks Nick.
