Born on the cusp of the Woodstock era

I remember looking at the older hippies as a teen, wishing I had been born just a little earlier. I observed them and lived with them because of my admiration. I became influenced by my observations and I am pleased with the impact they made in my life.

I was born in the 7th month, 7th day, in the year of 1951. I had my chart done and the timing of my birth was good. I graduated in 1969 from high school in the end of an era. I had heard about Woodstock in 1969, and asked a friend to drive me to New York. He decided against it and I would have gone alone, but I had my car taken away earlier that winter.

When I heard there was going to be a 25th anniversary of Woodstock I made every effort to go.

I know now I am a part of the generation of the 60's. I am a reflection of what they were, because I was growing up during this time.

I found that the Woodstock of 1994, filled the missing link in my life. I had wanted to attend the one in 1969, and the one in 1994 became real to me. The following pages are my story of the one I was able to attend. Having lived in the 60's, I pictured the flow of love in both events and the parallel between the two Woodstocks. This picture is hopefully told through out my story in the pages to come.
