MY ART
and how I make it

In the pages of this site, you will see a variety of different artworks that I have made and descriptions about how I made them. The artwork is divided into two different categories of two-dimensional flat/wall work and three-dimensional sculptural works.

You will see many unusual pieces made out of plastics. My friends jokingly call me the Plexi-queen because it is my favorite media. As an art media, it is relatively new, versatile and easy to use. I prefer to use scraps and waste left over from sign companies and other industrial sites, because making art from somebody else's waste is not only cheap, but also cool!

On this page, you will see three different works on plexi and one made out of ceramics on the lower right side. Both the plexi piece and the ceramic one on the right have copper wire in them from the trash heap at the local electrical company. I have also found copper wire at the local recycling center for cheap. The materials for the ones on the left came from a plexi dealer who had them in his scrap bin. Remember; an artist who uses recycled materials has the world at their fingertips.
