'Waiting for Daddy'

This site is dedicated to the memory of my father, Walter (Mike) Stordahl (1919-1983)who served in the U.S. Army during World War II. It is also to honor my mother, Helen Fisk Stordahl, who kept me safe and loved at home.

This site is an attempt to give you a picture of what life was like for my mother and me on the 'Home Front' and what it was like for my father on the 'War Front'.
