The Academy Awards

The Oscars is a long-lived tradition honoring movies that have become more then just a movie. The awards themselves are not what get on my dirty side; it is what goes on before that creates a little problem. What I am talking about is the “Red Carpet,” the walk of stars.

I cannot stand the rating of clothes, Joan Rivers and her daughter rate how each star looks each year. First off, who cares whether or not their tuxes and dresses are good enough.

If you are going to rate the look of a star, make sure you look better. This is not done by these two women. Watching the 75th Annual Academy Awards I found myself wanting to jump off a bridge listening to Joan Rivers.

I did not have a problem with seeing the stars walk, but when they went to show the hosts I couldn’t believe my eyes. There was Joan Rivers looking like a princess on a drug binge telling viewers how well others look.

Not only do they rate the looks but the way they talk is also very annoying. No one is at the top of the fashion game, there is no king of the game telling all the others how to dress, especially two women who themselves have never had the honor of doing so themselves.
