Hello,
my name is Machelle.
I am a senior majoring in mass communication at Bemidji State University. I
will be graduating spring 2003 after a very lengthy stint as an older than average
student. Returning to school after 20 years I was extremely frightened and excited
to start studying again. Now that the time is near for me to leave the academic
world I find once again that I am frightened and excited about reentering the
work force.
My hopes are to be hired in a journalistic capcity. I would love to get into
copyediting and to tackle social issues through writing. I came to the academia
world with many life experiences that I was able to relate to my studies, now
I am hoping to expand my life experiences through my academic studies.
