Loot Rules

Mains will always be considered first when rolling for any item in any lotto.
  • Current Loot rules apply in that it must be an upgrade to your Main’s equipment for you to roll upon said item.
  • The goal of CW is to assist all our members in acquiring the best gear possible in order for the guild to be a true fighting force that will cause the elite mobs of Norrath to think twice before attacking us!
If there are no Mains present that can use the item or it is not an upgrade then the following 2 things can occur at the discretion of the Loot Coordinator, Guild Council, Officers, or Guild Leader.
  1. The item can be put up for lotto for peoples Primary Alts. People with Primary Alt’s in attendance of the Raid may roll on said item.
  2. The item can be put in the Guild Bank and distributed to another Guild Main that is not present at the Raid, sold to earn money for the guild bank, or held in the guild coffers until a decision is made what will be done with said item.
If there are no Primary Alts that can use the item or it is not an upgrade for a Primary Alt the following 2 things can occur at the discretion of the Loot Coordinator, Guild Council, Officers, or Guild Leader.
  1. The item can be put up to general lotto for any and all people that are in attendance of the Raid.
  2. The item can be put in the Guild Bank and distributed to another Primary Alt that is not present at the Raid, sold to earn money for the guild bank, or held in the guild coffers until a decision is made what will be done with said item.
These rules also apply to epics. Guild resources will be directed toward getting a persons main their epic first and foremost.
  • The drive to get a primary alt an epic shall depend on class and difficulty of obtaining it. Shaman, Rogue, and Monk epics for Primary Alt’s can reasonably be obtained with minimal effort.
  • Other classes such as Druid and Ranger have relatively easy epics and also will be considered.
  • Difficult epics such as Mage, Warrior, Paladin, Bard shall always be directed at Mains first.

Definition of Player Character Structure in Crimson Watchers.
The following rules are to be used governing the loot rights of character inside of Crimson Watchers. The structure is as follows.

  • Main A person may pick 1 Main character in the guild for loot purposes. A Main character must be at least Level 50. A Main character will be the character that a person plays the most and can best contribute to the guild. This doesn’t have to be a persons highest-level character, however it should be the character that is played the most.
  • Primary Alt A person may pick 1 Primary Alt character in the guild for loot purposes. A Primary Alt is defined as a character that has reached Planer Level.
  • Secondary Alt(s) All other characters that do not meet the criteria of a Main or Primary Alt are considered Secondary Alt’s. Secondary Alts must be at least Level 15. A person may have 1 Secondary Alt in the guild per Main OR 2 Secondary Alt’s per Main provided the total levels of the 2 Secondary Alt’s is greater than or equal to 60. A person may have 1 additional Secondary Alt per Primary Alt. Special exceptions may be made for exceeding the limit of Secondary Alts for scouts, mules, or other Secondary Alts as the Guild Council sees fit.
The following exceptions can be made in classification.
  • If a person is asked to bring a character to a Raid that is a Primary or Secondary Alt then that person has a choice as to loot for either character just for that Raid as a Main.
    • Example: A person as a Level 60 Warrior Main and a Level 52 Cleric. The Raid needs more Clerics, as they are short. The Raid leader asks the person to bring his Level 52 Cleric instead of the Warrior. For this Raid and this Raid only this person may treat the Level 52 Cleric as a Main for Looting purposes or they may continue to loot for their Level 60 Warrior. But a choice has to be made for 1 Main for that Raid and 1 Main only.
  • If more than one person plays on 1 account those 2 people can have a designation of 1 Main each for the purposes of looting.
  • Other exceptions can be made for re-classifying Alt’s on Raids at the discretion of the Guild Council.
  • All gems shall be handed over to the Loot coordinator.
    • As many gems as possible will be lotto’d at the end of a raid to those that do not win armor.
    • The balance will be used to cover costs to clerics and wizards for stones and for the guild, if they have provided stones.
  • Replacements will wait one (1) hour after arriving for a raid to be eligible for any lotto’s unless absolutely no other main wants it.
    • Who qualifies as a rep (in the case of extreme lateness) will be determined by the Loot Coordinator.
  • We will only accept a claim for a Last Piece if the Raid Leader is notified before the raid begins.
    • We will not allow replacements to claim last piece at all, as this is unfair to those who have already been on the raid from the beginning.
    • The person who claims last piece better be wearing his/her stuff!
  • Loot will be class specific and if an all/all item is best for tanks, it will only be lotto'd to those classes.  The loot coordinator for a raid will make those decisions and they will be final
  • Once you leave a raid that is still in progress you are no longer eligible for any lotto’s.
  • Class specific items won during a raid are to be USED, not sold.
    • If an item is not an upgrade for you, then do not participate in a class lotto.
    • A player caught selling an item won during a class lotto will be barred from further raids.
  • Once a player has won an item, he is OUT until everyone has won, or no one else wants an item.
    • If an item drops that is better than what a player won, he will not be in on that lotto unless no one else wants it.
