Applicant

If you want to apply:
  • You must meet the levels set on the incoming members section of the message board or seen in requirements section.

  • Make sure you do not belong to a Barred Class (Barred Classes are those decided by the Guild Council to either be undesirable or we have too many of that class already).

  • You must have three references from members in good standing with the guild (The sponsor is separate), a full member sponsor, and one character reference from someone outside the guild.

  • Before a Cadet can begin their full month of consideration (before getting an invite) in the guild they must first speak with the Guild Leader to have their Cadet status approved.

  • They must also receive a copy of the guild charter and agree to all the rules and code of conduct contained herein before receiving an invite from an Officer.

  • All Cadets will undergo a full month where the will be scrutinized by other Members of the guild before being considered for membership.

  • It is a Cadets responsibility to seek out and group with guild Members for their trial month (Sponsors should also help in this regard).

  • After a month of grouping with other guild Members cadets name will be brought before the Guild Council for a membership vote. Attendance and behavior will be considered in the voting process.

Applicants upon meeting the Crimson Watchers Requirements, must then post their application on the message board. Prospects should start a post on the "Join Crimson Watchers" message board.
Sponsors are required to post on the applicants behalf. This reply should consist of the sponsors accepting this applicant under his or her guidance and a small summary of the sponsors feelings on the applicant.
References are required to post on the applicants behalf. This reply should consist of the person(s) accepting this applicant under his or her guidance and a small summary of the sponsors feelings on the applicant.
After your post:
  • The guild recruiter will post and confirm the application. The Guild Recruiter will then set up an interview with the applicant and post a summary for the council to review.
  • The Council is to post on the applicants behalf based upon their knowledge of the applicant. It will be up to the sponsor and the applicant to assist the council in getting to know the applicant better. The less the Council knows of the applicant, the slower the process will go.
  • Cadetship is approved with 50% council support. The Guild leader reserves the right to veto any applicant.
  • Upon approval Cadetship will be issued. Cadetship generally lasts about 1 month, but may be extended if the Council so chooses. During this time the Cadet will be scrutinized by the guild. It is the applicants and the sponsor's responsibility to assist the guild in getting to know the prospective member better.
  • Upon the Council's decision to grant the Cadet full membership, the applicant becomes a full Member of the Guild and is entitled to all rights and privileges.
